I kind of lucked into Pence in my draft (I got him at #122 in a 10 teamer). I hadn't planned on taking him, but thought it was great value at that point. He's behind Kemp, Bruce, and Ibanez on my team (we start just 3 OFers).

Anyways, I kind of have a good feeling about him. Dare I say a big breakout is coming? He's starting his 3rd year and it looks like he may hit 5th in the lineup (please, no Tejada!!). Here's Bill James projections:

.294, 29 HRs, 100 RBI, 91 runs, 13 SBs. Obviously a bit optimistic. What's everyone feel about him this year?

I think you're probably right in thinking those numbers are a bit optimistic. I think he'll hit about .280 and have 25 HR's or a few more. I don't see him scoring 91 runs unless they bat him second (which they won't). He's not going to have [i]anyone[i] in the lineup behind him that will knock him in at that rate. Still, at #122 that seems like a good value.
