Rookie 3b- Gamel, Viciedo and Wallace

Postby Hardcore Midget » Mon Mar 09, 2009 5:07 pm

I had posted this in the comments on the 3b topic today, but figured I'd move it in here too.

So my question- based on the keepers in my league and my draft spot (last pick of the first round, first pick of 2nd round) in my 12 team H2H league, I feel a little hamstrung by my 3b choices.
The top talent (Wright, Arod, Aramis) won't be available.
Atkins, Zimmerman, Encarnacion. Decent options, but yawnstipating on their own ways...

There are a few young 3B who could potentially be hitting the big leagues this year- Gamel, Viciedo and Wallace.

Anyone have any clue on whether any of these guys might make the Opening Day rosters for their respective teams? Worth a flier on any? Looking to strike it rich.

Wallace is too young still, Viciedo will be behind Fields presumably for at least this year, I like Gamel but he's not showing it in the spring and looks headed for Triple-A. I wouldn't go near any of these guys just yet in a 12 team league.

If you want me to look at your team, post the team. Don't post a link to another site where the team is.
Have you given me all the info I need to judge your team? The number of teams in the league is a good start for the big overall questions.
Is your league H2H? Roto?
I don't know who's on your waivers. Don't just ask me who you should pick up. Give me names to choose from.
If you only have one team, post your team in your signature with the league parameters.
I don't know every single matchup for next week, so if you want me to choose a player for the following week and you think the matchups are important, tell me who they're facing.
