I drafted San Diego's upside late in my draft. They stunk in WK. 2 while Denver has played good D both weeks. And Denver is currently avail.

So, do I need more patience - or do I grab DEN now before someone else. I wont drop a bench player to reserve DEN for after another look, all my bench players are looking too good.

San Diego looked like they could be a really solid Defense coming in to this season. They've lost their Stud Nose Tackle which is far and away the most important position on that entire Defense.

You are spot on about Denver- they have played well so far. I think Dumervil could potentially lead the NFL in sacks. Their home games should be favorable later in the year with the cold, altitude change, etc. I would be surprised if San Diego D/ST put up comparable #'s for the rest of the season.

Denver schedule turns very tough after Oakland. Unless your going with the flavor of the week

Yeah I checked DEN sched. after I posted - and yikes! I will watch intently this weekend and decide afterwards - hoping that noone else grabs them. DEN hasnt really played anyone either. But, if their offense loosk like they can be good enough thsi year to keep the D from tiring each game and Merriman and co. suck again Sun. - I will pounce and hope for the best.

Denver's defense seems to always start out well, and then they turn to shit. I hate Denver. I think it was in 07 or 06 they had a "historically good" defense to begin the year and then ended up falling apart down the stretch. They played the chiefs in the first thanksgiving night game on NFL network and got pummeled by the then great Larry Johnson. I would not trust the Broncos defense. They've looked good against the Bengals and the Browns. Gimme a break.

Not sure how you can write off a defense because of the past - completely new coaching system and set of players in Denver this year. I like them to put up good points this week, but would roll w/ another team next week.
