1 PPR, 12 team league...
I'm hoping to find a cheap sleeper from the waiver wire. I don't expect to see Jamal Lewis staying healthy all season (or being the only RB who gets carries).
I've read good things about Davis recently and am wondering who you guys would rather have?

There's a ton of hype on Davis but I just don't see him becoming the feature back if Lewis gets hurt. Harrison is the 3rd down back now and a very good receiver out of the backfield. One option you do have is to pick up a back from a different team that's more clearly going to be the feature guy if the starter gets hurt. Jamaal Charles comes to mind. Depending on how deep your league is there a lot of others out there as well.
P.S. if you're looking to get in to another league I'm trying to round people up for a league that drafts tomorrow (I posted it earlier today). You're welcome in if you've got time.

Hey man...thanks for the advice. My league is 12 teams deep and full of pretty good owners. Here is a list backup RB's available on the wire....
Kevin Jones Maurice Morris Antonio Pittman Cadillac Williams Lamont Jordan Chris Brown *I may be missing a few guys (i simply listed the guys available under CBS' 2nd RB depth chart - so if you know of any guys currently 3rd let me know).
I already have A. Peterson, Portis, Cedric Benson, F. Jones, and K. Faulk.
I'm basically looking to find fantasy gold on the waiver wire if there is anything out there.
P.S. As for the league, I appreciate the offer but I can't do it tomorrow...too busy

hmmm... quandry... of those I like Kevin Jones and Chris Brown the most. The rest of those players would be splitting carries even if the guy ahead of them got hurt. Chris Brown is also the Short Distance back so he might be a poor man's TJ Duckett.
Also what about: Rashad Jennings, Kenneth Darby, Michael Bush, Glen Coffee?
I'd also check and make sure there aren't any desireable receivers out there but in a deep league like yours I prefer to roster lots of sleeper RB's and bank on one of the group making it big. So if you're short at receiver I'd recommend considering trading some of your stud RB's to get deep at WR.

I'm starting to lean toward Davis since Harrison has been out the last three weeks with an ankle injury. Davis has taken this opportunity to shine. We'll see how Harrison looks when he comes back.
