This is the first year my league is allowing keepers; only one keeper per team ($5 is added to the salary you drafted the player at the year before). You can't keep a player you picked up on the waiver wire or that you got in a trade; you can only keep a player you yourself drafted. We just moved to an auction two years ago, so the owners are still finding their way with auction values. $200 budget, 1 QB, 1 RB, 2 WR, 1 TE, 2 Flex (RB/WR/TE), K and Def. PPR league, but with a slight twist: 0.5 PPR for RBs, 1.0 PPR for WRs, 1.5 PPR for TEs.
Here's my question: I can keep RGIII at $15, Dez Bryant at $26, or J.Charles at $33. (These numbers include the $5 kicker for keeping them.) Obviously if RGIII hadn't had his leg bent backwards and wrapped around his head at the end of last season he'd be the pick, but he's got risk and the history of my league in auctions (yeah, two years, so there's that) says that after the top 5-6 of QBs the price falls off considerably. It looks like Sky really likes both Dez and JC Superstar this year. My league seems to pay more for WRs top to bottom (maybe because of the 2 WR requirement), and I think the other owners will undervalue JC this year, so I am leaning toward Dez or RGIII. What do you guys think?
