Who should I keep in my keeper league? Pick 3

Arian Foster
Mike Wallace
Steve Smith
Beanie Wells
Steve Johnson
Hakeem Nicks

Here are my rankings of your keepers...straight up in a vacuum, my top 3 are the first 3.

Arian Foster (he is a guaranteed keeper...you need to keep him)
Mike Wallace (not yet under contract...there is a chance...he'll miss training camp and/or start of season)
Hakeem Nicks (rehabbing from small bone fracture...questionable for start of training camp)
Tony Romo (you can get other QB value depending on type and size of your league but I personally believe Romo will have a career year this year...he has so many weapons)

Beanie Wells (nursing knee injury...big injury risk...I wouldn't use a keeper on him)
Steve Smith (still has a lot in the tank...but he's older)
Steve Johnson (very talented...but may be limited by the limitations and/or inconsistency of his QB)

Given that there Wallace wants a huge contract and that the Steelers won't pay him the money he wants...there is always a chance he misses part or all of the season...who really knows?...just with that...I'd go with the following:

Arian Foster
Hakeem Nicks
Tony Romo

I'd hold off as long as I could to confirm the keepers...fully research the Mike Wallace situation...if you feel at any point that Wallace is likely going to play...I'd go with him over Nicks... try to determine who the other managers in your league might take...walk through their lists...look at who they might have kept previously...look at their favourite teams, players...

...if the other guys lean toward certain teams, positions...that could affect who you pick...remember during a draft for example...a player's value changes as players are picked...if one is picking last in the first round and everyone else picks RBs...RBs have much more value...

....you have to know your league...good luck!

P.S. you might have a number of teams picking the likes of Griffin or Luck with their first pick...especially if they don't keep a QB..if you don't keep Romo...they might take him before you in a draft...and you might get some value still...

...look at sleepers coming into the season...potential breakout candidates like Ryan Matthews...maybe the Mathews owner is stacked at RB...not sure if you know you position in the draft yet...but that matters...strategize accordingly

QB: Should do OK; Romo will put up the stats; Luck is a good #2
RB: You are spread out too much; I would target Ben Tate as a handcuff to Foster; try to sell Stewart to DeAngelo Williams' owner; maybe sell Pierre to Ingram's, Sproles owner?; I'd keep Benson (he's worth holding to see what comes out of GB with him); I'd also try to get Hardesty, esp. if you can't get Tate
WR: I think this is a position of strength for you; both Britt and Rice are injury risks; Britt for his current state and Rice for his history...if you can improve your team I'd unload either of them...first Rice, then Britt...the prob with Britt is that we are waiting to see what explosiveness he will have but he's unlikely to play in any preseason games and will be suspended for 1 I believe, once the season starts
Def: likely have to stream on D; see how the Broncos start the season, especially with the offense controlling the games (hopefully), they might get a lot of rest to perform for you
