Trading for Farve

Postby MiracleMan » Tue Nov 10, 2009 12:38 am

I'm 6-3 and have a good shot at the playoffs. I have Cutler and Flacco at QB, and have been playing matchup with them all season...but I don't think either one will get me too far in the playoffs. I sent an offer of Sims-Walker and Harvin to the owner for Farve. He has countered and wants Vernon Davis. Ugh. The only TEs available right now are Heap, Boss, Keller and he has Scheffler.

Is this a good time to sell high on VD? I also have Crabtree on my roster. Think he'll get more looks in the redzone? Are any of these TE worth owning going forward? Should I make this trade? Thanks for any advice.

Wait... he wants Vernon Davis in addition to the 2 you are offering or in place of Harvin? Either way, I say no way. Favre for Sims-Walker alone and he's winning on that deal. I'd either re-counter with your original offer (because lets be honest, Harvin is just a throw-in with barely any value anyways) or look to trade with someone else.
