So my team is a pile of crap right now (1-2), and I just got offered this trade:

Give: Jamaal Charles
Get: Ridley and Demarco Murray

I did look at his team and he has Julius Thomas and Jordan Cameron at TE. I could switch the trade up and get Murray and Cameron/ Thomas for Jamaal and Jared Cook.

Thanks for the advice in advance!

QB: Tom Brady
RB: Jamaal Charles
RB: Daryl Richardson
WR: Demarius Thomas
WR: Victor Cruz
TE: Jared Cook
Flex: Dwayne Bowe
D/ST: Broncos
K: Phil Dawson

B: Eli Manning
B: Chris Ivory
B: Ahmad Bradshaw
B: Rashard Mendenhall
B: Mike Williams
B: Julian Edelman
B: Eddie Lacy

Update: Just dropped Ivory for Bilal Powell

For the second option in the trade it would be:

Get: Murray, Ridley, Cameron
Give: Jamaal Charles, Jared Cook

I think he would do this trade as well because he has Julius Thomas.

Thoughts?

Think you're going sideways at TE and backwards at RB. Not my type of trade.

Even with me being super weak at RB, I shouldn't take Murray and Ridley for Charles?

Given how Ridley has performed, are you really any better off with him as your RB2 while lowering your RB1?

Got counter- offered Giovani Bernard instead of Ridley.

Get: Murray, Bernard, Cameron
Give. Charles, Jared Cook

I know Giovani has more upside than Ridley, but the loss of Charles could still hurt.

That's more reasonable in my book. I'd pull the trigger with the knowledge you're lowering our RB1 to get better production out of your RB1/2 as a whole.
