I have 2 backups: Carson Palmer and Blane Gabbert. So, during my 2 starting QBs (Peyton and RGIII) bye weeks, I gotta start either Palmer or Gabbert.

I was just offered Jaquizz Rodgers and Chris Johnson for Carson Palmer and Dennis Pitta.

An obvious steal, but, it forces me to start Gabbert for 2 weeks! And if Gabbert (or Peyton or RGIII) gets injured, there are ZERO starting QBs on the waiver right now, which could leave me with an empty QB spot during a bye week. My waiver priority is 6 and slowly climbing.

I am a little shaky at RB with: Charles, Fred Jackson, LeShoure, Hillis, and Powell, so I could use the support there. But I am loathe to have to start Gabbert for 2 weeks.

Thoughts?

Don't know if I'd call that a steal. Palmer is currently ranked 34th overall in yahoo leagues. I'd counteroffer with Gabbert unless he's looking for an every week QB starter. If he is, he's gotta come to the table with more than that.

Seems like maybe I should drop Pitta from the deal? Or would you take it? Obviously, Chris Johnson scares the burjeebers out of me. I think I like Smith > Moore, you?

I think it's a fair trade. I know CJ is scary, but he should still be a solid RB2 this year. I'd personally make that trade. I see it as a buy low on CJ.
