Razzball Commenters League Week in Review, Vol. 2

Postby p0rk burn » Tue Jul 01, 2008 3:59 pm

The line-ups haven't changed substantially. And by that I mean there's been no big trades just steady Cleveland Streamer action thats not limited to pitchers. CruisinKC had the best single day performance of the week gaining 33+ points which led the team to the top 3. IowaCub's strategy of "draft pitching in the first, last, and all the rounds in between" has succeeded brilliantly - if you measure success in seeing how fast you can take your self out of contention. Don't worry buddy, you're only 92 games back of first. The Bacon Bits managed by the indomitable and fearless p0rk burn is gaining respectability off of a few strong days of their own. Actually its been more of 2 steps forward 1 step back, but nonetheless the Bits picked up 20 games and are currently sitting in 7th. For your viewing pleasure, I present to you the RCL stats after two weeks of play:

Sweet. Thanks for uploading.

Hmmm.... IowaCubs, you name your team after Rod Beck then you bury them? How dare you, sir? Pull it together, man.

If you want me to look at your team, post the team. Don't post a link to another site where the team is.
Have you given me all the info I need to judge your team? The number of teams in the league is a good start for the big overall questions.
Is your league H2H? Roto?
I don't know who's on your waivers. Don't just ask me who you should pick up. Give me names to choose from.
If you only have one team, post your team in your signature with the league parameters.
I don't know every single matchup for next week, so if you want me to choose a player for the following week and you think the matchups are important, tell me who they're facing.

Oh the humanity!
Johnny Ringo: All right, 'lunger'. Let's do it.
Doc Holliday: Say when.

That does it. I'm changing my name back to Daniel Plainview, you don't even recognize me as McLovin.

After Doc talked about Daniel Plainview eating McLovin's bald privates diced in huevos rancheros and then going bowling it seems only fitting.

Hah, sorry LORH. I'll switch it to McLovin if you didn't already change your name. You need to tell me these things, the only thing I can keep track of these days is the crap for the bar exam. I probably couldn't make a bowl of cereal right now but I'll write you a mean evidence/contracts essay in 30 minutes. Just think, in two months that offer will come with a price attached.*

I am assuming the bar exam is only given at certain times. My sister-in-law is taking the bar in Conecticut at the end of July as well. You have your work cut out for you. Is this your first?

How could they give you the Bar so close to Busch Gardens? That's an unfair distraction.
