So here is my team. I don't think I took players at the "right time" at all in this draft, but I had a pretty clear goal at the outset of what type of players I was looking for and how I wanted to construct my team.
Hitting wise, I went with 1-2-3 hitters with good average and steal potential, in hopes of taking firm grip of R, AVG, SB. I lucked into some nice HR and RBI numbers as well, a dozen 30+HR 100+RBI guys should spare me embarrassment in those categories. Dye was a mistake pick, but fortunately I had the serpentine back-to-back pick, so I was able to grab Votto (my intended pick) immediately after.
Pitching wise is where I got creative. I went closer heavy (ok, full on bonkers), with 7.5 closers (Soriano being the .5), guaranteeing SVs, and giving me a statistical probability of being in great shape for ERA and WHIP. I took a handful of decent in real life, but totally boring in fantasy life SP at the tail end of the draft to (hopefully) keep me out of the basement in W and Ks, but I'll be in fine shape for the innings limit, and can stream to make up ground there.
Overall draft strategy was as follows: Go with the best hitters available (get a good core 9) until all the $12 salads were off the board, load up on donkey corns, grab boring starters with wins and ERAs under 4, take a SS as late as possible.
It should be a fun half season.

Wow, no one still believes in Wandy, huh? 205 is insane. Saunders and Buehrle are pretty bleh, but you probably know that already. I like your hitting a lot, but you obviously took a huge gamble on no starters. I think overall you should be competitive with some decent moves for starters, you'll definitely have the closers to trade to upgrade there if you choose so. Though others may feel like since you have so many closers that they're all fighting for 2nd anyway and may not want to trade with you.
