In a turn of events no one could have foreseen, little-known Steve has lead his
Plucky Kiwis into first place. They gained 6.5 points Friday to raise their total to 91.5, moving up 2 spots in the standings.
The Kiwis started the week in 4th place with 77.5 points, 16.5 behind
The Schmohawks. On Monday they dropped to 76 points, 17 out of first. They had a good Tuesday, jumping to 80 points while The Schmohawks held at 93. A 7-point gain on Wednesday left them within 4 of the lead. The Kiwis dropped 2 to 85 Thursday, but The Schmohawks lost 1.5 as well so it left a 4.5 point deficit.
Then came the Fateful Friday, when, despite Roy Oswalt, the Plucky Kiwis took over first place.
Now, as Steve would be quick to point out, meteoric gains can evaporate just as quickly, but it sure seems like we're watching a TEAM OF DESTINY (not the stripper).
