I started with Kershaw in the 4th, and took CC 6, Gallardo 8, and Haren 9. by that time I had 1st, 3rd, OF1 &2 and Util 1 filled. I traded CC for Hanley (still thanking Grey for maybe trade of the year).

I think the most important thing is to understand your league rules and scoring and take full advantage of them.

I'd like to note that I am the owner of the team that drafted Roy, Felix, and CC.

I was unable to make the draft and my computer decided that hitting was not important.

That's unfortunate. Wish i had an excuse like that for why my RCL 5 team is in 10th place.

FWIW I drafted Kershaw in the 3rd and Cliff Lee in the 4th and I'm in first place! I'm pretty sure it's not because of my picks in rounds 1 (Howard) or 2 (CarGo) either.

Sure, it's possible to still draft and build a good team. Well done! Maybe you'd be even better if you had taken 1 pitcher and another hitter (say maybe Jose Bautista!). Who knows. I guess if the players you draft have great years, that will make any strategy look good.
