I don't know whether to be embarrassed or excited by the challenge. I knew I let pitching go too long but autodrafters fared better than I. Oh well, you go with what you got. All I know is that I was scrambling the whole time because everyone was selecting who I had in mind 3 rounds early! I should have joined an ESPN readers league!

I totally agree with SoS.

Pitching seemed pretty shallow once I got around to it, and my attempts to balance the lack of power in earlier picks seems mostly to have adversely affected my AVG. My hope is that Greene keeps up the .395 clip (with 1 K in 43 ABs!) to push my offense along. Oh, and Dice-K suddenly earns his ERA.

Without further ado, my team:

You're betting on the wrong guys. Dice-K, Volquez, Nolasco and Garza are all due for a 'falling back to earth.' But, hey, if it doesn't happen your team could be okay. It is an average black hole.

If you want me to look at your team, post the team. Don't post a link to another site where the team is.
Have you given me all the info I need to judge your team? The number of teams in the league is a good start for the big overall questions.
Is your league H2H? Roto?
I don't know who's on your waivers. Don't just ask me who you should pick up. Give me names to choose from.
If you only have one team, post your team in your signature with the league parameters.
I don't know every single matchup for next week, so if you want me to choose a player for the following week and you think the matchups are important, tell me who they're facing.

What can I say, I clearly panicked when it got to the 9th round and none of the pitchers I really wanted (King Felix, Billingsley, Gallardo, Harden, Lester, &c) were available. And then my anxiety peaked when Scott Baker and Slowey were picked in the 9th as well.

Up to that point I felt I was doing okay, and, to be fair, I got Dice-K (99), Garza (166), Nolasco (123), and Volquez (118) for cheaper than you ranked them. But all of them together on one team does look foreboding.

Well, I might as well get started on figuring out how to fix this. I've clearly got an arduous climb ahead of me, and this black hole isn't helping much either...

I don't think I started drafting pitchers until round 9 either, but I don't mind how mine looks. Just hope to find the hot hand on the FA wire when need be.
That said, I thought my offense would be higher ranked than 4th overall (still taking it with that grain of salt in mind though). Mine is Team Santanistic, thought I'd get out that out there so it didn't have to be asked later.
I wouldn't mind hearing Grey's opinion on who's team looks the best out of the gate.
Even though ARod Lovers made the projections, I checked out your team a little more closely and it does look pretty damn good.

Well, I certainly can't see my pitching being 20 points better than the next best team. I like my staff, but lets be realistic! Here's my squad:

I think your staff looks pretty good, but I can see how having emphasized CHONE might have predicted more success than it possibly merits. For example, CHONE is the most hopeful about Harang's bounceback, giving him better W, ERA, and WHIP than other projection systems. But then again, Marcel and ZiPS have better numbers for Sabathia, so it appears I am talking out of my ass. Oh well, I got this far, might as well post this comment anyway.
