middraft help appreciated

Postby Atomic » Thu Mar 25, 2010 12:04 pm

Its my pick at the turn of 10th/11th round and I am not confident about who to take.

Available are:

2B: Uggla, Stewart
other hitters: Quentin, Soriano, Rios, Ibanez
SP: Garza, Weaver
RP: Aardsma, F Cordero, Wagner, Fuentes, Franklin

The league is in the middle of a closer run, and we need 3 or 4 relievers each, and k/9 counts, so any decent reliever will be taken.

So I am thinking Stewart, Aardsma. But I don't really like any of the relievers. Is Quentin or Garza worth taking here?

Thanks!
12 team mixed, roto, 3 OF, 1 Util, 7x7 (usual plus 2B, OBP, L, K/9)
4 keepers, 1500 inning limit

C: Matt Wieters
1B: Mark Teixeira
2B: Brandon Phillips
SS: Elvis Andrus
3B: Alex Gordon
OF: Colby Rasmus
OF: Mike Stanton
OF: Michael Morse
Util: Adam Lind
BN: Mark Reynolds
BN: Carlos Pena
BN: Eric Young
BN:Carl Crawford

SP: Cole Hamels
SP: Shaun Marcum
SP: Daniel Hudson
SP: Hiroki Kuroda
SP: Ian Kennedy
SP: Ryan Dempster
RP: Leo Nunez
RP: Kevin Gregg
RP:Javy Guerra
RP:Sergio Romo
BN: Bobby Parnell
DL: Jonathan Broxton

Stewart and Aardsma makes sense.

If you want me to look at your team, post the team. Don't post a link to another site where the team is.
Have you given me all the info I need to judge your team? The number of teams in the league is a good start for the big overall questions.
Is your league H2H? Roto?
I don't know who's on your waivers. Don't just ask me who you should pick up. Give me names to choose from.
If you only have one team, post your team in your signature with the league parameters.
I don't know every single matchup for next week, so if you want me to choose a player for the following week and you think the matchups are important, tell me who they're facing.

Thanks! I went through with it, though I don't trust Aardsma too much. Last year I picked Jason Motte and ended up winning the league, so it isn't the end of the world. :) Love the Razzball!

The online draft continues, and crazily enough Garza and Quentin who I were considering taking at the 10/11 round turn are both still there for me at the 12/13 turn. Gotta love it. Many thanks to Razzball for making this draft a success. Also people taking Nick Johnson in the 10th round helps too. ;)
