Postby strikeone » Wed Mar 24, 2010 11:04 am

Yahoo 12 team H2H picking 6th

C - Jorge Posada
1B - Mark Teixeira
2B - Brandon Phillips
SS - Troy Tulowitzki
3B - Ryan Zimmerman
OF - Nelson Cruz
OF - Adam Jones
OF - Shane Victorino
Util - Hunter Pence
Util - Jay Bruce

SP - Justin Verlander
SP - Scott Baker
SP - Roy Oswalt
SP - Kevin Slowey
SP - Johnny Cueto
SP - Johnathan Sanchez
RP - Carlos Marmol
RP - Francisco Rodriguez

BN - Clay Bucholz
BN - Kenshin Kawakami
BN - Mat Latos
BN - Homer Bailey
BN - Brian Matusz

Is round 5 too early to draft a pitcher? I feel like the pitching got away from me here a little bit.

Round 5 isn't too early to draft a pitcher. Your pitching looks real solid. Not shabby at all. Your hitting, while strong, does lack much speed, which is fine in a H2H league, but it's something to think about.

If you want me to look at your team, post the team. Don't post a link to another site where the team is.
Have you given me all the info I need to judge your team? The number of teams in the league is a good start for the big overall questions.
Is your league H2H? Roto?
I don't know who's on your waivers. Don't just ask me who you should pick up. Give me names to choose from.
If you only have one team, post your team in your signature with the league parameters.
I don't know every single matchup for next week, so if you want me to choose a player for the following week and you think the matchups are important, tell me who they're facing.

Would fixing the speed issue be as simple as exchanging Bruce for a Juan Pierre or Morgan type?

No, cause then it'll leave a gap in power.
