So I was doing my research for a standard 5x5 14 team mixed league, taking the numbers from the previous years and trying to keep track of how much I need for each category to win this year when a wrench was thrown into my business, they went from 14 teams to 18. How should I compensate the numbers, obviously there is going to be a drop in the totals of each category but I was wondering how to compensate for that.

Any ideas? The draft is not until the 27th and I don't know where I am in the order yet. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

I'd look at guys much earlier that you really want. For instance, if you want Zimmerman at, say, 18 you better take him because he won't be there on the return voyage. Also, I'd make sure I had at least one top tier starter.

So the draft order is in, they cut the teams to 15, and I'm 14 in the draft order, do you still suggest the same game play for the 18 team as stated above or wait a little longer for starting pitchers?
