Gotta give Murray Hewitt's second cousin the nod here. A-Rod @ 6 and Braun @ 15?!? Done right there. Not to mention Hippo drafted 7 SP...

Never should have turned out that way, obviously, but you can only play the hand that's dealt ya.

First two picks do not a team make, and I always draft 7 starters, trade bait baby!

But only if they're good ones, and those are good ones. Imagine a Volquez when he's hot in the first two months (before reality sets in) flipped in a package with a Ludwick for an Utley when he's trying to find his swing.

Pick up the first outfielder that gets dropped for a rookie phenom to take Ludwick's place, (Dye, Krispie, etc) and you got the best 2B in the game for a marginal pitcher and a #3 outfielder.

Just an example of the madness of the Hippo

If you want me to look at your team, post the team. Don't post a link to another site where the team is.
Have you given me all the info I need to judge your team? The number of teams in the league is a good start for the big overall questions.
Is your league H2H? Roto?
I don't know who's on your waivers. Don't just ask me who you should pick up. Give me names to choose from.
If you only have one team, post your team in your signature with the league parameters.
I don't know every single matchup for next week, so if you want me to choose a player for the following week and you think the matchups are important, tell me who they're facing.

We shall see, in the RCLORD.....

I have a tendency to get a lot of pitchers and flip them, watch me.*

Of course, I'm tipping my hand here, so those reading this, pay no attention please. You are getting very sleepy, veeeryyyyy, verrrrrYYYYYY sLEEEEPPPYYYYY, tick tock, tick tock...tock, tock ..........and snap

"you are now under my control, anything you say cannot be used against you in a court of law"

*Hippo is in no way responsible for this remark, he's drunk.

Did the math guys, just cause I hate to lose, even a mock Steve. So, not to belabor the point, but let's belabor the point.

Based on Greys' rankings per position, I assigned the number (1 pt. for ARod at 3b, 1 for Pujols at 1B, etc.) Just like golf, the lower number = Better.

Here's how it turns out:

13 starters on offense- Hippo 144, Steve 162
7 Starting Pitchers- Hippo 160, Steve 221

Closers= SAGNOF, so not included here.

I'll stand by your rankings Grey, and will draft accordingly. Unless you think I should go with ESPN?

Ha!

No, have to work tomorrow, took today off cause I worked Sunday.

Just found it interesting that I followed Grey's rankings when I drafted last night and still got voted off the island. :D

One thing I know is this, you and me would have finished 1 and 2 in that league if we actually played it. Razzball rules!

Talked to the commish today, you're in our auction league if you want and if we find one more. Whatta you think?
