Doubt I'd get away with this in an RCL, but still...

Postby Steve » Tue Feb 10, 2009 5:43 pm

Votto for the Util spot and Hardy in the 9th were the only ones I was a little unsure about. Otherwise I think it turned out pretty well. Pretty much a full board of humans through the first 10 or so rounds.

1.5 Albert Pujols 1B SteveL
2.20 Carlos Lee OF SteveL
3.29 B.J. Upton OF SteveL
4.44 Brandon Phillips 2B SteveL
5.53 Dan Haren SP SteveL
6.68 Joey Votto 1B SteveL
7.77 Jermaine Dye OF SteveL
8.92 John Lackey SP SteveL
9.101 J.J. Hardy SS SteveL
10.116 Bobby Jenks RP SteveL
11.125 Matt Cain SP SteveL
12.140 Alex Gordon 3B SteveL
13.149 Derek Lowe SP SteveL
14.164 Matt Capps RP SteveL
15.173 Max Scherzer SP SteveL
16.188 Joey Devine RP SteveL
17.197 Jered Weaver SP SteveL
18.212 Yadier Molina C SteveL

Was this a 12 team league? That's a pretty kickass team. Maybe it looks so good because it's only 3 OFs required and no MI or CI, unless I'm missing something.

If you want me to look at your team, post the team. Don't post a link to another site where the team is.
Have you given me all the info I need to judge your team? The number of teams in the league is a good start for the big overall questions.
Is your league H2H? Roto?
I don't know who's on your waivers. Don't just ask me who you should pick up. Give me names to choose from.
If you only have one team, post your team in your signature with the league parameters.
I don't know every single matchup for next week, so if you want me to choose a player for the following week and you think the matchups are important, tell me who they're facing.

Yeah, it's 12-team.

No MI or CI. I think Phillips falling to the 4th was a BIG help and I think there are a lot of guys (non-Razzballers obviously) who are still drafting the usual suspects as their number 1 and 2 starters. Haren was a bonus as the computer picked him for me, although I've been taking him in the 5th if he's there. Nice, also, to get Lackey, plus the Cains and the Lowes and the Weavers always just seem to be there.

Oh - and just noticed, Utley got drafted twice (!), which probably helped me get Lee at 20.
