Okay, same situation as in the other topic EXCEPT -- dude with Soriano just traded him. So two questions:

1) I think I can get Soriano from his new owner for BJ Upton straight up. That guy's needed an SB-upgrade at 2B all year (he's got Polanco) and has asked about Upton 30 times. Do I do this?

2) Out of curiosity, which offer was better? I offered Hamels, Pence, Guardado for Soriano. Here's the trade that went down:

Lincecum/Kemp for Soriano/Joe Saunders

I know Linc is good, but I'd be selling now too, given his probable innings slowdown/shutdown.

Anyway -- trade Upton for Soriano and live with Emilio Bonaduce at 2B for the rest of the year (Upton's mainly given me steals in any case)?

Or do the Burrell trade as previously discussed?

Lincecum will still be good for the rest of the season, but won't be as good as before as it's a lost cause for the team and they wouldn't want to risk him

No -- to clarify (the last post was a bit confusing): the Soriano/Lincecum trade is a done deal by two other teams.

I'd want Soriano out of that trade, but Kemp's been usable, if a lightweight Soriano. As for Saunders and 'cum -- bleh.

I would trade Upton for Soriano before trading Pence/Guardado for Burrell, but either is still juicy.

Soriano obviously has a better chance of productivity. He can match Upton in steals and out-gallop him in HRs. Do this trade.

So you think Soriano/Bonaduce would be better going forward than Upton/PenceBruce?

If Bonaduce (<--- feels forced, btw. But I'm going with it for now) steals 12 bases the rest of the way and hits .300, what are we to expect of Upton? The same, more or less right? Maybe five HRs? Soriano just hit 7 HRs waiting for you to make this trade. And there goes another one. Yes, I like Soriano/Bonifacio better than Upton/Pebruce
