ideas for Glaus

my league loves watching me try to put trades together. A guy in last place put Glaus on the block for pitchers, second base, or outfield.
2nd: I have Utley
3rd: I have Wright with EE on the bench.
Outfield: Markakis, Granderson, Alexei Ramirez with Pence on the bench; Hopefully Ankiel coming via trade
Pitching: Billingsley (couple of hours before its a done deal), Bedard (uggh), Cueto, Harden, Harang, Young, with closers Soria, Broxton, and Fuentes
His "block" also is offering CJ Wilson and Ethier.

He also has Holliday but won't budge on him.

Is Glaus worth putting into my utility spot? What would be a good package? I am not afraid of trying to throw a two for one out there to clear a spot so I can take a flyer on Liriano.

Be wary of Glaus.

Streaky hitter in the worst way. Currently 0 for his last 15.

Which means..........buy low. By the time he's on your team he'll be hot again, or maybe not.

Just don't give up too much.

Upgrade over EE, I would think, but then again, I hate Encarnacion.

Hey Hippo, Did you have that shot I sent ya at the RCL? Utley is enjoying himself here in CT, no hip problems anymore.

Alright so the trade went through, I reread Grey's customizable letter toward fucked up objections. It just wasn't going to be me so I wrote the following to the league in response.

I don't get it!
Two first place teams want to trade pieces because they
believe they improve themselves. Three of the seven active
teams object. Lets do some math shall we?
7 active managers-2 teams trading who can't object= 5 teams
who aren't managing their own teams and need to get a
fucking life.
Sometimes the moves I make work and sometimes they crash and
burn (Bedard for Halladay). Sometimes moves are made
because I want to keep players and sometimes they are pieces
I put together to get another player that is better than
the free agent market. Sometimes I have sent out trade
offers just to fish or screw with you guys. Never have I
made a trade to screw the other party.
A lot of times objections have been abused. Bill has been
the only one to correctly use objections, justify it, and
own it by writing about why he objected.
There are five guys in this league who have been pretty cool
to have in a league - Las Vegas, Jackson, Joboo, Lebanon,
and Twinkees. Too bad it isn't more.

For those of you who abuse the objection process out of
jealousy or fear. I look forward to the playoffs where
Karma comes around and bites you in the ass.

That won't stir it up the way Grey's would have but should make it more interesting. Bare minimum I probably now make any future trade objections definitely "personal" so now they could be justified.

Remind me real quick, this is the league where you do not know the guys right?

If you want me to look at your team, post the team. Don't post a link to another site where the team is.
Have you given me all the info I need to judge your team? The number of teams in the league is a good start for the big overall questions.
Is your league H2H? Roto?
I don't know who's on your waivers. Don't just ask me who you should pick up. Give me names to choose from.
If you only have one team, post your team in your signature with the league parameters.
I don't know every single matchup for next week, so if you want me to choose a player for the following week and you think the matchups are important, tell me who they're facing.

Yup. If my desire to win and my attitude toward creating a team and dropping it wasn't so strong I would probably bench my whole lineup when I play some last place or even second place teams.
