Just got Hanley for Tex/Mariano/Aviles. Have Howard at 1B and Davis/Hawpe to fill Tex's spot at Util. Still have Mike G, Broxton, Hanrahan and Izzy (what a bunch of schmohawks!) For saves. Did I do OK?

I think it's a lot to give for Hanley, but it's still a good move for you given your strengths. Ballsy move, but solid.

If you want me to look at your team, post the team. Don't post a link to another site where the team is. Have you given me all the info I need to judge your team? The number of teams in the league is a good start for the big overall questions. Is your league H2H? Roto? I don't know who's on your waivers. Don't just ask me who you should pick up. Give me names to choose from. If you only have one team, post your team in your signature with the league parameters. I don't know every single matchup for next week, so if you want me to choose a player for the following week and you think the matchups are important, tell me who they're facing.

Yeah. Could blow up in my face, but my 2B/SS has been a black hole for me all year (I drafted KJ and Renteria), so Hanley is a massive upgrade and, as you say, I can cover the loss of Tex and Mariano.
Plus, the guy I'm trading with is out of the playoff hunt...

any time you get the best player in a deal you can pat yourself on the back, especially in this instance where you get one of the top 2 or 3 players in baseball. I do think the other guy did well with the package you sent him because Tex is gonna lit it up as always in August and Sept and I'm becoming a believer in Aviles. I'm with Grey, its gutsy. I hope is pays off.
