actually already accepted it as I thought it was skewed towards me, plus I have braun to take over at 3b so I wasn't actually taking a hit in 3B, and duchscherer < beckett as far as i'm concerned

did the other owner see something that I did not? He has the weakest 3B in the league so it will still be an upgrade for him, but I wouldn't have given up beckett to be part of this deal if i were him!

I think you took the other owner to the cleaners. Great move for you. Dook is one of the bigger sell high guys. As I said on the blog, "Dook is/was due for a major correction. I think BABIP was something like .210. ie. A pitcher should be around .300. Lots of luck was involved with Dook’s first half."
