Big League trade between Cubs and A's

The first-place Chicago Cubs acquire right-handers Rich Harden and Chad Gaudin from the Oakland Athletics for righty Sean Gallagher, outfielders Matt Murton and Eric Patterson, and minor leaguer John Donaldson.

Great heads up. Thanks.

Maybe Murton will finally get some playing time.

If you want me to look at your team, post the team. Don't post a link to another site where the team is.
Have you given me all the info I need to judge your team? The number of teams in the league is a good start for the big overall questions.
Is your league H2H? Roto?
I don't know who's on your waivers. Don't just ask me who you should pick up. Give me names to choose from.
If you only have one team, post your team in your signature with the league parameters.
I don't know every single matchup for next week, so if you want me to choose a player for the following week and you think the matchups are important, tell me who they're facing.

5:25pm: Dave Kaplan of WGN Radio in Chicago reports that the Cubs have acquired Rich Harden from the A's. Sean Gallagher is reportedly part of the deal, and possibly Matt Murton. Hal McCoy says Eric Patterson and another minor leaguer are also included. More when I have it.

Is it just me or does it seem like the Cubs are scrambling b/c of the CC deal? Harden's velocity has been down recently and he is prone to injury. The A's hate them some starting pitchers. Though I hope Harden stays healthy, b/c I have him in the RCL!

Now if Harden's arm stays attached the win numbers should rise pretty steadily.

As I told Freak on the blog, (Harden) hasn’t come close to 200 IP in 4 years and if the Cubs get to the playoffs, he’ll be way over 200. I think this is a reactionary move because of the the CC move by the Brewers.
