Reynolds for Beej trade

Postby b_rad82 » Mon Jul 27, 2009 11:21 am

My 14 Team H2H Points league has the following keeper rules:

Each team keeps 1 player drafted rounds 2-4. (For me that's a choice between Kinsler, BJ Upton, and Carlos Quentin)
Each team keeps 4 players drafted rounds 5-22.
The manager's draft pick from the round in which the keeper was selected is forefeited in next year's draft. (So I keep Justin Upton, who I selected in the 10th round and I dont get a 10th round pick.

I am currently 6-10 and have lost 7 in a row, so I'm feeling a bit desperate, here is my team:

C Miguel Montero
1B Joey Votto
2B Ian Kinsler
3B Martin Prado
SS Orlando Cabrera
OF B.J. Upton
OF Justin Upton
OF Garrett Jones
UTIL Michael Bourn
Bench Jose Reyes*
Bench Carlos Quentin
Bench Matt Wieters
DL Jay Bruce*

SP James Shields
SP Javier Vazquez
SP Aaron Harang
SP Wandy Rodriguez
SP Brett Cecil
RP J.P. Howell
RP Daniel Bard
RP Ramon Troncoso
Bench Erik Bedard*
Bench Jordan Zimmermann*

Here is his:

C Mike Napoli
1B Ryan Howard
2B Alexei Ramirez
3B Kevin Youkilis
SS Stephen Drew
OF Josh Hamilton
OF Nolan Reimold
OF Corey Hart
UTIL Mark Reynolds
Bench Geovany Soto*
Bench Ian Stewart
Bench Dexter Fowler

SP Zack Greinke
SP Matt Garza
SP Jered Weaver
SP Chris Carpenter
SP Johnny Cueto
RP Brian Fuentes
RP Frank Francisco*
RP Leo Nunez
Bench Rick Porcello
Bench Clay Buchholz
DL Matt Lindstrom*

He turned down Quentin for Reynolds straight up, and I turned down BJ for Reynolds straight up. He said he'd be willing to sweeten the pot a little, given the keeper situation Reynolds will only cost a 17th round pick next year. Is Reynolds + Garza enough for Bossman Junior?

You turned down BJ for Reynolds, but you want to give more with Garza? I'm confused.

If you want me to look at your team, post the team. Don't post a link to another site where the team is.
Have you given me all the info I need to judge your team? The number of teams in the league is a good start for the big overall questions.
Is your league H2H? Roto?
I don't know who's on your waivers. Don't just ask me who you should pick up. Give me names to choose from.
If you only have one team, post your team in your signature with the league parameters.
I don't know every single matchup for next week, so if you want me to choose a player for the following week and you think the matchups are important, tell me who they're facing.

Ah... I was looking at the wrong team. My bad. Those are enough for BJ.
