Trade Evaluation

Postby Obmij76 » Sat Jul 11, 2009 5:31 pm

Im in an auction keeper league and am being offered the following deal -- should I take it?

I would get:
Joe Nathan(I wont keep a closer), Chase Utley(expiring contract), Vernon Wells($4) and David Wright(expiring contract)

I give up:
Jay Bruce($5), Francisco Cordero($12), Vladimir Guerrero($18) and Mark
Reynolds($1)

Id normally take this deal in a heartbeat but the fact that I currently have Bruce and Reynolds at such a low price for what could be 3 more years, it makes me hesitant. On the other hand, the additions of Utley and Wright could push me over the top for this season.

Thoughts?

I'd take it.

If you want me to look at your team, post the team. Don't post a link to another site where the team is.
Have you given me all the info I need to judge your team? The number of teams in the league is a good start for the big overall questions.
Is your league H2H? Roto?
I don't know who's on your waivers. Don't just ask me who you should pick up. Give me names to choose from.
If you only have one team, post your team in your signature with the league parameters.
I don't know every single matchup for next week, so if you want me to choose a player for the following week and you think the matchups are important, tell me who they're facing.

I wasnt able to accept it in time before he pulled the offer and offered a new trade where he replaced Bruce with R. Soriano

So it's

I would get:
Joe Nathan(I wont keep a closer), Chase Utley(expiring contract), Vernon Wells($4) and David Wright(expiring contract)

I give up:
Raphael Soriano($5), Francisco Cordero($12), Vladimir Guerrero($18) and Mark Reynolds($1)

Still take it?

I'd still take the Utley side.
