Looking to deal...

Postby marcheese » Mon Jul 06, 2009 4:53 am

A guy in my league posted the following "Anyone that wants anyone on my pitching staff, please offer me a hitter. Will discount everyone.". I figure I pounce. Here's his pitching staff (worthy of trading for):

Wainwright, Chamberlain, Price, Cain

I figure I may as well try for Wainwright, if anyone. Since he's selling low, do you see anything that I could potentially offer?

In addition... If I make a move for Wainwright (for a hitter), would it be smart to deal Votto for Huff and Damon since I'll have a hole in my line up? Would that work? The guy I asked Damon and Huff about said he was interested in Votto primarily.

Huff and Damon's fine. But Votto for Wainwright is giving too much.

If you want me to look at your team, post the team. Don't post a link to another site where the team is.
Have you given me all the info I need to judge your team? The number of teams in the league is a good start for the big overall questions.
Is your league H2H? Roto?
I don't know who's on your waivers. Don't just ask me who you should pick up. Give me names to choose from.
If you only have one team, post your team in your signature with the league parameters.
I don't know every single matchup for next week, so if you want me to choose a player for the following week and you think the matchups are important, tell me who they're facing.

My mistake, I must have confused you. I think you got half of what I was saying.

So Votto for Huff and Damon is a good deal for me?

If I do that, which player should I move for a buy-low Wainwright? Will Reimold get it done? McCutchen? Other ideas? (I wasn't suggesting Votto for Wainwright)

Ah... My bad. Damon and Huff are decent there. I'd probably just hold Votto. I don't think Reimold and McCutchen together get you Wainwright.

What if I could deal Phillips for Uggla and Wainwright?

I'd take Uggla/Wainwright there.
