My team is in the signature.

I am doing well in every category. However, my worst cat is easily BA and my outfield leaves a lot to be desired.

I am first in basically all of the pitching stats. My offensive cats can go up a lot.

Would you trade Lincecum for Matt Kemp and Curtis Granderson? This would hurt my pitching staff, but I believe it will hurt me in K's the most and I could probably stay OK in the ratios and wins. It would help my hitting ten-fold.

None of those players would be eligible to be kept in 2010.

Is this enough?

Lincecum for Matt Kemp and Curtis Granderson is fair but they're not exactly strong average contributors. I mean, they okay.

Is your league H2H? Roto?
I don't know who's on your waivers. Don't just ask me who you should pick up. Give me names to choose from.
If you only have one team, post your team in your signature with the league parameters.
I don't know every single matchup for next week, so if you want me to choose a player for the following week and you think the matchups are important, tell me who they're facing.

I wouldn't trade Lincecum. You would need to get a 1st round bat for him. You should aggressively shop Wainwright to try and upgrade yourself at outfield. He's a front line guy with a lot of value and he's pitched well so far. Also LaRussa has been keeping him in too long (look at his pitch counts) so he is a guy that might tire out in the second half. There are quite a few outfielders you could pick up that'd be equivalent value. Your team is extremely solid other than outfield which I feel is extremely weak.

Find someone who's hurting for SP and see what they'll give you for Wainwright. You might have to give up a little more but that would be even better if you could go 2 for 1. I'm thinking Wainwright + Reimold for Hawpe (might not be enough to get him) but that'd be my pattern, the "type of deal" I'd be going for.

would gallardo and pence be enough for lincecum?

i really need a stick.

pence gives me that and i feel like gallardo is an ace right now.

none of these players would be keeper eligible.

That would be enough for Lincecum.

Lincecum was already a decent amount for those two. I'd tell them to forget it.

I agree with you all the way, grey.

however, i am not convinced downs comes back healthy and dominates like he did before. I feel like downs is expendable and gallardo isn't too much of a downgrade from lincecum for just 1/2 a season.

I think i am going to do the deal.

Why wouldn't Downs continue to dominate? He's improved every year the last 3 years. His BAA is on the decline, and his WHIP is on the decline too. He's not a dominating pitcher in terms of K's, but his control and ability to induce ground balls make him a solid closer. He'll be fine when he comes back. As long as he never swings a bat again in his career.
