Soria for Dye

Postby rollins1 » Tue Jun 30, 2009 2:20 pm

I would give Soria for Dye

My outfielders now are Kemp, Ethier, Rios, Bourne and Beltran on DL.
My other closers are Aardsma, Gonzalez, and Frasor.

What do you think? Dye is better than Rios and Bourne, and probably Ethier, but am I stretching myself too thin at closer? And is Dye too old to keep it up all season?

Thanks for the help.

Dye = very solid. 35 hr's and 90 rbi. Arguably the best RF statistically over the past three years. Value contract wise.

I agree he's solid. But if I do the trade I have to start offering trades fors closers right away, because I'd be hurting in saves. I guess I could find somebody for Rios or Bourne...
