Slowey

I kind of want to sell high on Slowey's high wins to date. Other than that, his ERA and WHIP are quite awful. Would offering McCutchen and Slowey for Wandy Rod be a stupid move?

Slowey and Wandy are pretty close in value. No real reason to do that trade.

If you want me to look at your team, post the team. Don't post a link to another site where the team is.
Have you given me all the info I need to judge your team? The number of teams in the league is a good start for the big overall questions.
Is your league H2H? Roto?
I don't know who's on your waivers. Don't just ask me who you should pick up. Give me names to choose from.
If you only have one team, post your team in your signature with the league parameters.
I don't know every single matchup for next week, so if you want me to choose a player for the following week and you think the matchups are important, tell me who they're facing.

Yes his ERA and WHIP are not very good but that's because his BABIP is through the roof. I don't mind that trade; I think you'd be getting the better of it. But it'd be a lot better for you if your scoring was 5x5 instead of 8x8. Wandy's big advantage is in K's which is more pronounced in 5x5. What's nice about Slowey is he doesn't walk anybody. I agree with you that his Wins are inflated but I think that regression will be offset and overtaken by his impovement in other categories.

You should try Kershaw + McCutchen for Wandy. It would probably get rejected but a lot of people are in love with McCutchen so it's worth a shot. I think Wandy would be a big upgrade from Kershaw (unless it's a Keeper league but I'd still probably do the trade then).

Thanks. I know it's 8x8, but the additional 3 categories (not at my choice) are GIDP, CG, and HLD. So it's basically 5x5 for pitchers like Wandy and Slowey. Most likely won't go the distance, and although Wandy is ahead in GIDP, it's more of a toss up because I think they are similar in terms of their GB/FB. I could be wrong though. You think that low of Kershaw? I've been thinkin I'd rather hold Kershaw than Slowey at this point in the season.

i agree that slowey's wins are high but he is on the brink of going on a tear that will get his ERA and WHIP where they belong.

he will finish the year with a mid 3 era and a whip of no higher than 1.225. Book it.
