Sick of weak offers from the same guy.

You wanna trade who for who? Wow, that's awful/great/horrendous/beautiful/really terrible?

Sick of weak offers from the same guy.

Postby Frank Rizzo » Thu Jun 26, 2008 6:18 am

This guy has been floating me constant offers for Miguel Cabrera. 3 for 1 offers that I refuse to take. His most recent is Ben Sheets, Sheffield, and Loney for Cabrera. Well I don't want Sheffield, and Loney's good but not the perceived superstar that Miggy is. And I like Sheets but pitching is not a huge need for me and Sheets is an injury risk. This same guy also has Haren on his pitching staff.

I decided to make this guy tow the line. I countered with the following...

I give Cabrera/Bedard

I get Reyes/Haren

I think it's in my favor as Reyes is like gold since great SS are hard to find. Getting rid of Bedard wouldn't hurt my feelings at all. And I like Miggy, but power 1st basemen are easier to find than stud SS.

Your counter isn't as lowball as his trade offers. I do like Reyes the best.

If you want me to look at your team, post the team. Don't post a link to another site where the team is.
Have you given me all the info I need to judge your team? The number of teams in the league is a good start for the big overall questions.
Is your league H2H? Roto?
I don't know who's on your waivers. Don't just ask me who you should pick up. Give me names to choose from.
If you only have one team, post your team in your signature with the league parameters.
I don't know every single matchup for next week, so if you want me to choose a player for the following week and you think the matchups are important, tell me who they're facing.

I loved the Geovany Soto for Jon Garland offer I received last night. Is he stupid, or does he think I am?

Maybe he is lurking here and reading some of the love for Soto but missing about how low in value catchers are due to their days off.
Aside from the RCL does anyone think they have leaguemates as frequent Razzball riders?

Jon Garland? What, he couldn't throw in WIlly Aybar or someone else as attractive?

I demanded Ugueth Urbina along with Garland, and he pulled the offer. One of our league categories is Wins+Attempted Murder Charges.

Too bad you didn't throw in Jeff Reardon.
