What's Cliff Lee worth?

Postby Frank Rizzo » Sun Jun 28, 2009 9:16 pm

I've offered a guy Casey Blake for Cliff Lee straight up. I have a ton of 1b/3b and he's got Beltre and Lowell at 3b which ain't good. If he balks on that offer wanting pitching in return would an offer of Blake and either Braden, Cook, or recent pickup Ricky Romero still be a good move for me?

I'd offer Blake and all of those starters you mention for Lee, if it got the job done.

If you want me to look at your team, post the team. Don't post a link to another site where the team is.
Have you given me all the info I need to judge your team? The number of teams in the league is a good start for the big overall questions.
Is your league H2H? Roto?
I don't know who's on your waivers. Don't just ask me who you should pick up. Give me names to choose from.
If you only have one team, post your team in your signature with the league parameters.
I don't know every single matchup for next week, so if you want me to choose a player for the following week and you think the matchups are important, tell me who they're facing.

Thanks.

What order would you offer the pitchers?

Blake and Cook
Blake and Romero
Blake and Braden

Which would be easiest to go on without?

I'm sorry, I'm an idiot. You're saying Romero is the easiest to part with because he's a rookie and will likely regress correct?

I understood that part but I'm not going to have to offer them all. This guy's absolutely desperate for a healthy 3b, there's no FA worthy of picking up, and Casey Blake would be helping him out quite a bit. He is potentially interested in one of those pitchers plus Blake.

Wow. Offered Romero/Blake for Lee and he countered with Cook/Blake for Lee. Accepted....done deal. I just freaking picked up Cook a week ago.

Thanks!
