Apologies about the volume of posts...Team (likely keepers)/League in sig.
Wieters ended up getting flipped to another owner for Beltran, but the former Wieters owner also approached me for Pujols.
My pitching staff is all either peaking or has peaked, and I've got very good bats and Goldy so I can afford to give up Albert, and it may allow me to retool my pitching staff and stock my prospect pool on the fly in a single trade, and drafting to fill the holes.
Right now the other owner is up for making the deal after keepers are declared, so I could be swapping draft picks instead of keepers, and would have a fully-stocked minor league cupboard even having Davidson/Paxton starting the year in the bigs (hopefully). That'd allow me to use all of my draft picks on top prospects (I should land one of Tanaka/J. Gray/Bryant/Frazier with the 3rd overall pick) and top-notch relievers.
While that'd give me one young pitcher with tremendous upside for this season, and one for next (albeit both who have already had TJ surgery - Salazar in 2011, Bundy 2013), it'd also give me a 20-20 SS option longterm in Russell, and a legit C-option in Castro so I could wait until the end of the draft to take a flier on a 2nd C.
