Just inherited a badly neglected roster in a dynasty league. We use real life contract values with a cap of about $110M. I need prospects and draft picks to rebuild and am trading off some of the more valuable pieces on my major league roster to get there. Considering whether to part with Chris Sale, who is signed to a ridiculously reasonable deal for six years. On the one hand I can be competitive before that deal is up. On the other I might get competitive much faster by trading him.

What kind of a return would you look for? I could hold out for a top 25 type prospect and another piece or two. Getting offers now with top 100-200 types ( G Sanchez, Folty, Brinson) and picks but how many of those kinds of pieces would it take to justify trading him off?

Those are terrible deals... Sale's currently a top 20 SP and looks to stay there for a while barring injury... I'd want a lot more...

If you want me to look at your team, post the team. Don't post a link to another site where the team is.
Have you given me all the info I need to judge your team? The number of teams in the league is a good start for the big overall questions.
Is your league H2H? Roto?
I don't know who's on your waivers. Don't just ask me who you should pick up. Give me names to choose from.
If you only have one team, post your team in your signature with the league parameters.
I don't know every single matchup for next week, so if you want me to choose a player for the following week and you think the matchups are important, tell me who they're facing.

That was my gut too so glad to hear it. The best deal I could probably swing would be G Sanchez, Folty, Ranaudo, Brinson and some picks. I'll pass.
