Reposting because the other post is confusing. So here goes again.

In 2nd place and need a big bat. These deals were offered:

1-I give Harvey $4, fielder 28, Sandoval 29, weaver 22 and Balfour 4 and I get Chris Davis 4, minor 15, McCann 7, and Butler 6?

2- I give Goldy 7, Harvey 4 and Weaver 22 and I get Encarnacion 7, Bautista 10, Cain 25, and Jason Castro 1.

3- I give Goldy 7, Harvey 4, and Liriano 1 and I get Encarnacion 7, Bautista 10, Cain 25, and Castro 1.

I prefer to give up Fielder because of his price but if the Goldy deals are better I guess I'm ok with it.

Thoughts on these?

I don't really like any of them. The Goldy deals, you are giving up two really good keeper options and not getting the same kind of value in return. EE and Bautista are solid prices but they aren't guys I would be wanting to have for the long haul. Goldy and Harvey are.

The first deal, I just don't see much improvement in it for you. Davis is killing it right now but that won't last. He isn't going to hit 30+ HR in the second half. It is just the way it is. He will still probably put up some very solid numbers but not that good. Frankly I would be surprised if he hits more than 50 HR all year which puts him on a much lower projection in the second half. The one thing you do get are a few solid keeper options at cheap prices. I just don't think your level of production is going to change all that much and could get worse.

What if I get Shelby Miller $10 in the first deal over Minor? U think that makes the deal better? Thanks for the help!!!

Not really. Get both Miller and Minor then maybe. Or find a way to leave Harvey out off the deal. But again I am just not sold on David keeping this up.
