David Price for Carl Crawford

Postby Heraldo » Sat May 11, 2013 9:31 pm

I was offered Price for my Crawford.
Is this fair?
Offense is slightly favored in the league, but it would make my pitching solid.

EDIT: To clarify, a batter like Crawford can influence all 8 categories (Errors negatively); where as Price can only influence 5 (Losses negatively). Thus hitters are MORE important. I don't know if my league mates have identified this inequality, so theoretically I do the trade based on the assumption I could flip Price or other pitcher late. Is it worth the trouble?
