need some expert advice

Postby shutupandball » Wed May 01, 2013 1:12 pm

i have been approached about a potential trade for strasburg (whom i dont REALLY need, but i feel i can get for a good value considering the other owner is in dire straights)

after offer then counter and recounter offers... i have replied with the following counter offer

choo, aaron hill (soon to come off the dl), mujica, and homer bailey for strasburg and jose reyes (out till july).

the other owner is in DIRE need of m.i. production as he is starting didi gregorious, and brandon crawford (with nothing of note on the waiver wire) and also has other bats dealing with injuries (youk, werth). furthermore, he is searching for a quality closer as he is sitting on freiri as his only option.

is my counter offer a fair one? am i offering too much? or too little?

any help would be appreciated! team is in the sig.

Seems too little to me. But I am not a Strasburg owner and he might be willing to take this deal. Feels like a lot of ok pieces but nothing really great. If I were to deal Strasburg, I would be wanting a player of similar value in return.
