What can I get for Peavy?

You wanna trade who for who? Wow, that's awful/great/horrendous/beautiful/really terrible?

What can I get for Peavy?

Really looking for a MI. What tier should I target?
Would Prado be too little? is Castro too much to expect?

I always suggest to look around the league and see who needs a pitcher rather than get caught up in a certain player to trade for. You can try and get a Prado/Castro but if those owners don't have a backup SS or they have plenty of SP, then there is no benefit for them. Trades have to work both ways.

Sorry, I should have clarified. Two different owners have approached me for SPs, neither for Peavy though. They have been large deals, one owner included Castro, and the other included Prado. They are definitely both available. The one owner plays Prado as an OF and the other has A. Simmons as starting SS for some reason. I guess I am just wondering if Peavy is too much for Prado, or not enough for Castro.

I think it is worth an offer on Castro and see what happens. It probably isn't enough but also not sure what to throw in the deal to make it enticing.
