Hitting upgrade

Postby reveries » Wed May 27, 2009 4:37 pm

I'm once again trying to upgrade my hitting and a guy in my league is down to one closer because of injuries, so is desperate for saves. He said he's willing to trade a SS or OF in return and has Hamilton, Adam Jones, Vlad, Ludwick, Quentin, and Alexei for OF qualifiers(I feel okay at SS with what I have).

I'm really willing to trade any of my closers, but obviously Francisco and Franklin would have the most value. Any ideas on a combo that might be fair? I tend to underrate closers, even my own, so I'm looking for some help in evaluating/matching. Thanks in advance.

Wow, your outfield's pretty bad. I'd trade either of those closers, maybe both, for Hamilton or Ludwick or Vlad, in that order.

Yeah, we go daily so I was just listing my lineup as I had it for that day. Felipe Lopez has obviously been on the bench recently. But thanks anyway.

Hm, another guy is short on SP. What do you think of something like Garza for Choo? He also has Grady half dangling but he's told me that'd have to start with Hamels, but I'm concerned about his elbow.

I'd want a bit more than Choo for Garza.

Hm yeah, I actually just looked it over and I thought Choo had a lot more steals than he does.
