A few perspectives but I think you have to turn that down for long term.

I've been 50/50 on this trade all day but the keeper aspect of it has me really hesitant. I really don't think I can do the deal bc of the bat Hosmer has the potential to be. I've read the second and third links you've given me as I follow razzball pretty religiously. However, I have not seen the first link you provided. Wow, what an indepth great read. I've never heard of the dynasty guru. Who is he? I think I've just found even more content to sift through daily, ha! Is the dynasty guru comparable to the folks on razzball? Last question, what do you think Hosmer will put up this year in terms of numbers? Thanks again!!! Your info is greatly appreciated!!!! Do you write at all for razzball?

I am grey's little brother. Haha no. I just read a lot. and watch baseball a lot. I want to be a non fantasy baseball guy someday.

I would give him a touch over 20 power. Maybe 8 sb and a high .270s average.

I got Altuve for chisenhall and some other great trades last year in my dynasty. Grey, rudy, and other Googled perts helped me out

Hahaha. Well, little grey, I rejected the trade. I just couldn't do it. Went with my gut.

I had a question about my other team...the same guy who wanted to trade for Hosmer has him in our other league and wants to trade him to me. Let me list off my team and then tell you what the off was. Oh, and this is a keeper league as well.

Avila
Goldschmidt
Zobrist
Middlebrooks
Asdrubal, Segura
Choo, Stanton, JUpton, Aoki, Alex Gordon, Dom Brown, Markakis, Brantley, Fowler, Reddick

Scherzer, Zimmermann, Ryu, Fiers, Milone, Niese, Jose Fernandez, Garza (dl), Hughes (dl)
Casey Janssen, Jim Henderson

I know, I'm extremely weak at RP. What are my other weak areas, catcher and 3rd? Anyways, he offered me Carlos Santana and Hosmer for Goldschmidt. What do you think of that offer? What do you think of my team and areas I need to improve? Thanks!

Avila is a solid keeper. I think he will be a tiger for life and that guarantee looks good. He has only been catching a few years. However, I have read Hosmer has bigger power upside than gold. I just don't see it. You have a lot of depth at outfield. You can do better at third base, but I would also try to mix in a veteran or two at sp. Dynasty leagues aren't like franchise in madden. Try to win every year, not just hype and hope for a few years later.

Middlebrooks does have 25-30 hr power.

The Dynasty Guru is Bret Sayre - a pretty intelligent blogger/writer/baseball dude. He's on twitter, too - @dynastyguru

Highly recommend a follow and a donation to his site (just as long as you donate to Razzball, too).
