If you were dealing Weaver, who would you rather get back? I lean towards Kemp because he's been more consistent. Others say Upton because of his age and potential. When do you give up on potential? So, Kemp or Upton? Salaries are irrelevant.

I like Kemp more, I just believe he has more upside to put up big points. - Can I get some opinions on this; viewtopic.php?f=2&t=31734

Kemp is off the table, do Weaver for Upton? My pitching is a little weak, but I think my OF is worse.

Upton.
Weaver's been lucky the last couple years. His peripherals have been in decline year-over-year for three years. I'd be afraid of the wheels coming off this season. If you can get Upton for him, I'd take it.
That said, I've been saying the same thing about Hellickson for years and every year he secretly laughs at me, putting up great ERA and WHIP, despite crappy FIP/xFIP and weak strikeout numbers, so maybe I don't know as much as I think I do?
