My keeper league allows 5 players and 3 players called plus players.. basic H2H style 5 x 5.... 12 teams..

Right now I have

1 Felix Hernadez
2 Jason Heyward
3 Justin Upton
4 Evan longoria
5 Craig Kimbrel

+3 - Starlin Castro
+2 - Steven Strasburgh
+1 - Bryce Harper

I have 2 draft picks in the first round (#2 & #9)
SO the draft reall starts after the top 8 x 12 = 96 players are off the board..

I can acquire Adam Jones with my #9 pick but I would have to cut one of my players to protect Jones. I'm thinking Kimbrel or Castro. If I were to do this I would most likely use my #2 pick to pick Kimbrel back up.

So basically it boils down to.. Would you trade 2 players between the 97th and 108th ranked for Adam Jones? I'm thinking I do.. It does han cuff me a bit since I won't pick again until the 9th pick in the 2nd round (#117 ranked player).. Picking twice in the first round fills 2 holes, but Jones is really tempting here..

Any thoughts would be helpful..

I think that is a solid move. I would drop Kimbrel before I dropped Starlin though. I also wouldn't necessarily take Kimbrel with the 2nd pick. Would want to see who else is there with that pick.
