Did an autodraft. Lots of OF but lacking elsewhere. Should I trade Braun/Sheilds or Peavy for Longoria/J. Zimmerman?
Once players clear waivers I will probably cut Reynolds for a RP.

Doesn't seem enough for Braun. If you were to deal one of those pitchers, I would trade of Peavy first but I feel you should be getting more value here. Braun is easily better than Longoria but Shields/Peavy are pretty close to Zimmerman.
I don't mind you getting Longoria at all. One of these years he is going to stay healthy for the whole year and then watch out. I just wouldn't pay for that until he actually does it. So you need to be getting Longoria and a better SP than Zimmermann.

I agree. I don't think you're getting enough of an SP upgrade to rationalize the bat downgrade.
