I give Ian Desmond $16 for Profar 7. I can use Jean Segura at SS until Profar is fulltime. Thoughts?

13 team standard 5x5 league, 2014 salaries listed. Add $3 to keep a player each year (prices are updated for current year). Can only keep $200 worth of players before the 2015 draft, but will have $300 total cap after.

1b-goldy 13
2b- odor 4
ss - danny santana 4
4 of - rusney castillo 4, bruce 25, blackmon 4, revere 4
dh- encarnacion 10

4 sp- felix 31, ross 23, mchugh 4, latos 19
2 rp- benoit 7, kimbrel 27

reserve batters - utley 6
reserver pitchers - tyler kolek 4, daniel norris 4, derek holland 4

Players on my team to be dropped before the draft: Agonz 28, span 4, ryu 13

Not crazy about it...

Grey Albright

If you want me to look at your team, post the team. Don't post a link to another site where the team is.
Have you given me all the info I need to judge your team? The number of teams in the league is a good start for the big overall questions.
Is your league H2H? Roto?
I don't know who's on your waivers. Don't just ask me who you should pick up. Give me names to choose from.
If you only have one team, post your team in your signature with the league parameters.
I don't know every single matchup for next week, so if you want me to choose a player for the following week and you think the matchups are important, tell me who they're facing.

I don't really like it either. I like Profar long term but for this year I am not sure who regular of a job he will have. The real question is how much will Profar's cost increase over the coming years. At $7 he is kind of over priced for a guy that doesn't have a starting job yet. If he stays at $7 for the next 3 years, then I could see pulling the trigger but if his prices goes up each year then I think his price will always be ahead of his actual production.
