Positioning for the H2H playoffs

Postby Go Nats Go » Mon Aug 13, 2012 7:37 pm

I am looking to position for the playoffs as I am all but locked into a top 2 spot in my league. I am looking at the following trade to shore up my pitching based on match ups over the last 3 weeks (semis and 2 weeks final) of the fantasy playoffs/mlb regular season.

My Jay Bruce and A. Sanchez

for Kyle Lohse (2 series with the Astros) and Tim Hudson (2 series with the Marlins)

The other owner wants Bruce and a starter and my choices to give up are either Sanchez or Ben Sheets. Sheets appears to have the better match ups over Sanchez.

My other outfielders are Austin Jackson, Mike Trout, Ryan Ludwick and Justin Upton

My other SP's are Jordan Zimmerman, Madison Bumgarner, CC Sabathia, Ben Sheets, Anibal Sanchez, Jaime Garcia

What do you think about this trade?

Sounds like a decent trade for you...

If you want me to look at your team, post the team. Don't post a link to another site where the team is.
Have you given me all the info I need to judge your team? The number of teams in the league is a good start for the big overall questions.
Is your league H2H? Roto?
I don't know who's on your waivers. Don't just ask me who you should pick up. Give me names to choose from.
If you only have one team, post your team in your signature with the league parameters.
I don't know every single matchup for next week, so if you want me to choose a player for the following week and you think the matchups are important, tell me who they're facing.
