Giving the farm for Trout or Ellsbury

Postby rightwingjedi » Fri Jul 27, 2012 4:55 am

So the Trout/Ellsbury owner needs some power and is 1st in SB and he is ready to deal.

My question is can I afford to give the farm for Trout? What is to much? He wants Zimmerman and Latos for sure but mentioned I may have to throw in Justin Upton.

Should I just go for Ellsbury and a lower price?

Here are some key stats in my league and my rankings, LMK what you think about "giving away power" because I can afford it, I think.

HR- 225 (me- 215) 198, 191, 180
RBI- (me- 764), 728, 727, 710
RUNS- 788, (me- 755), 735, 724
SB- 139, 135, 131, 119, (me- 117), 110

I did grab Starling Marte for help but...............? ?

I do have Werth coming back but......?
