This is not a question of ROS to me...it all depends on needs...Lynn has a good team behind him, is pitching well, and is often listed as a sell-high guy...while Lincecum is either a buy-low or forget about him type of guy...
...Prado is having a great year...might drop off a bit but should still have a good year...he contributes in multiple categories...has 3B and LF eligibility...plays on a good team
...Soriano is a closer...the closer position is a risky one...he could go through a slump and lose his position...he shouldn't...but it could happen...the guy behind him, David Robertson is a very good pitcher and the Yankees' closer of the future...if Soriano were to go down with an injury of any meaningful length, and Robertson gets in a groove...who knows what could happen...
...I think the Lincecum/Prado side wins, based on expec...but it's a fair deal...if you have solid pitching and if there is nothing better on the wire in terms of OF/3B then it's solid...
...if I need saves desperately to stay competitive in my league...and if I don't need Prado...then it's a good deal for me...
Bottom Line: I think Lynn will regress...Lincecum might not bounce back, even to close to what he once was, but Lincecum has the track record...everything we know about Lynn suggests he'll regress...you'll be able to find saves on the wire if you let Soriano go...thus in a vaccum Lincecum/Prado wins...
It would help immensely if you posted your roster, type of league, and notable SP, closers, 3B/OF on your wire
