Having just made two -ahem- brilliant trades, I now have an outfield of Holliday, Granderson, and Bruce, with the 1B trio of Fielder, Votto, and Berkman occupying my 1B and two Util spots. All well and good for now, but in 2-3 weeks, I'm expecting Vlad to rejoin my team. While I'm not hoping for the Vlad of old, he's still too good a player to let smolder on my bench, and I don't want to tempt sonavabenches by playing matchups with all seven (presumably) studly players. I'm currently first in all pitching categories except W, ERA, and WHIP, but it never hurts to add another elite pitcher.

I'm thinking about offering OF or 1B for SP, or possibly OF/1B + SP for SP. Without getting into the different needs of different potential trading partners, could you suggest a handful of potential trades for an elite SP? I'd like to shoot for Johan, Billingsley, Haren, Lincecum, or CC, but also possibly Felix or Greinke. Keep in mind that my league counts K/BB and QS in addition to the usual pitching stats.

Or am I going about this wrong? Should I sit tight with my pitching staff and try to further upgrade my offense? I'm reluctant to do so, because I'm pretty content with what I expect to get from Reyes, Reynolds, and Weeks, and I don't want to trade for a catcher just to have another logjam when Doumit gets healthy.

Thanks!

Holliday, Fielder or Votto (in that order) for Johan, Lincecum, CC, Haren or Bills, in that order. Might be able to throw in Vlad with one of those studs for one of those pitchers. BTW, your team is stacked.

If you want me to look at your team, post the team. Don't post a link to another site where the team is.
Have you given me all the info I need to judge your team? The number of teams in the league is a good start for the big overall questions.
Is your league H2H? Roto?
I don't know who's on your waivers. Don't just ask me who you should pick up. Give me names to choose from.
If you only have one team, post your team in your signature with the league parameters.
I don't know every single matchup for next week, so if you want me to choose a player for the following week and you think the matchups are important, tell me who they're facing.

Thank you twice over, since your advice helped to make it so stacked!

I'm also about to get Meche in exchange for Hawkins, which will add further to my SP depth. I think I could probably swing Fielder for Santana or Haren, since the owner of both needs a slugging 1B (though he may be reluctant to trade with me since I'm currently in 1st place while he's in 2nd). I suspect that I might need to throw in another pitcher to make this deal go through, though. If it's Fielder plus Weaver or Lowe for Santana or Haren, is it still worthwhile? What if I have to include Joba?

Fielder plus Weaver or Joba are fine if you're getting a big time pitcher.
