to fill injury and closer holes and preserve my precious 3 remaining FA pickups.

Sent Lucroy $5, Hanson $7, Parker FA, Cishek FA
for
AJ Pierzynski Taxi, Street $11, the Shark FA, and Tyler Greene FA

AJ fills the lucroy void and Greene fills Tulo. I know there's a lot of hate for Tyler, but he is on 20/20 pace (given a full season of PAs) and the pop and wheels are real. I've grown to hate Hanson so he is really worthless on my team (bench him too much) and I love what the Shark is doing. The numbers look real. Street isn't the best, but I now doubt he will be traded given how Thayer and Gregerson have sucked.

This is a win now utilitarian move. Have double digit lead that I hope to maintain.

Oh, and I would have rather sent Adams than Cishek but the guy insisted. Feel ok with that tho because Nunez/Oviedo is coming back and I think Ozzie will give him preference if Bell loses his job.

Doesn't look like a great trade...

If you want me to look at your team, post the team. Don't post a link to another site where the team is.
Have you given me all the info I need to judge your team? The number of teams in the league is a good start for the big overall questions.
Is your league H2H? Roto?
I don't know who's on your waivers. Don't just ask me who you should pick up. Give me names to choose from.
If you only have one team, post your team in your signature with the league parameters.
I don't know every single matchup for next week, so if you want me to choose a player for the following week and you think the matchups are important, tell me who they're facing.

Definitely not a great trade as I was trading from weakness -- injury voids to fill, closer need (and when you trade for a closer midseason in my league you are gonna pay a big premium), short on waiver wire picks, and a injury prone starter I detest (Hanson). So I didn't get full value, not even close really. But I got what I needed without sending essential players away.

I think AJ equals or exceeds Lucroy this year. I'm not alone in liking Greene (D Cameron was recommending him in recent chat). I think the Shark will be better than Hanson and Street at least has a secure grip on his job (i have Frieri, Soriano and Putz, all of whom have job stability issues). Cishek and Parker could become valuable, but odds are they won't.
