The cornerstone keeper ($13) on my team along with Tulo. Second place guy is going nuts, picking up Pujols and a bunch of other pieces. I'm weak at Catcher, Closer, and steals. I would like to add an ace SP.

Do I dare do Votto, Hanson and D'Arnaud (top C prospect) for Napoli ($10), BJ Upton ($22), CLee ($20) and Brett Myers ($7). I'll take a hit in average but BJ is a big upgrade over my Schafer SAGNOF, Napoli upgrades Thole (or Duda if I play him at 1b), Clee upgrades Hanson, and Myers fills a void. Seems like I gotta do it, no? Worried Myers gets traded, but the Stros might want to win as many as they can ... Any thoughts Grey?

If you want me to look at your team, post the team. Don't post a link to another site where the team is.
Have you given me all the info I need to judge your team? The number of teams in the league is a good start for the big overall questions.
Is your league H2H? Roto?
I don't know who's on your waivers. Don't just ask me who you should pick up. Give me names to choose from.
If you only have one team, post your team in your signature with the league parameters.
I don't know every single matchup for next week, so if you want me to choose a player for the following week and you think the matchups are important, tell me who they're facing.

Hmm, can I ask why you think it isn't? I upgrade four positions considerably and downgrade one substantially. Upgrade C, Closer, SP, and OF and downgrade 1b. When I have Napoli at first it's an average downgrade but not a power downgrade. Maybe you don't think those guys represent such large upgrades? Thanks, this is important to me.

I see what you're saying... But the bulk of the trade is trading for steals, a catcher and a closer... Not things I trade for, especially with a 1st round 1st baseman...

Definitely agree. Think it comes down to the unique context of my league. Limited waiver wire picks (3 left for year), and a dysfunctional trading market. Closers are closely held and tuff to get. I wouldn't do this trade if I didn't think it put me over the top ... and I'll never be happy about it. Still considering.
